Meet the Owner
Hi! My name’s Elaine and welcome to Dollys, our new coffee and community cafe in Liscannor, Co. Clare. My four daughters and I have been coming to Liscannor since the girls were babies and Liscannor is our special place.
When an opportunity arose to buy a derelict cottage in the middle of the village we jumped at it. The building has been here for over 200 years and together with Mark Quinn our builder and David Leahy our architect, we set about restoring this beautiful building, giving it life again while acknowledging it’s historical past. My dream for Dolly’s is to create a welcoming space for people to gather and chat, to share ideas and stories. With our partner, Hugo from Hugo’s bakery in Lahinch we hope you will enjoy wonderful pastries and coffee.
We have also created a serene and open space upstairs. This area is available to all who have something they would like to share with the community, yoga classes, artists showcasing their works, flower arrangers, cookery demonstrations, poetry recitals, all are most welcome. So welcome to Dolly’s, we look forward to meeting you all and are excited for you to come on this journey with us in creating our new Dolly’s community.
